Biography:
HASSAN KAMRAN BASHIR did his Master of Science (MSc.) International Relations on a Merit Scholarship from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad in 1989; his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University Law College, University of the Punjab in 1991; and his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the Harvard Law School, Harvard University in 2006 on a Professional Development Programme (PDP) Scholarship funded by the World Bank and the Government of Pakistan.
Mr. Bashir has served as a Deputy Commissioner, Income Tax, Federal Board of Revenue (1995-2009); Partner at Ernest, Kamran & Minallah (2009-2017); and Partner at De Jure Law Chambers (2017-).
Mr. Bashir is a Visiting Lecturer in Taxation Laws at the School of Law and Policy, University of Management and Technology, Lahore (2015-present) and Public International Law at the Pakistan College of Law, Lahore (2008-present).
Mr. Bashir was appointed Of Counsel to AZAM & RAI LLP in 2019 and handles tax matters for the Firm’s clients.
