SYED AATIR HUSSAIN RIZVI did his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and Master of Arts (M.A.) in Political Science from the University of the Punjab, Lahore and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Cambridge, UK. Mr. Rizvi was enrolled as an Advocate in 2000 and as an Advocate of the High Courts in 2002.

Mr. Rizvi has had an outstanding academic career. He was awarded the Britannia Chevening Scholarship to read for an LL.M. degree in Cambridge University, where he was awarded the Gooderson Award for the overall performance in LL.M. by St. Catherine’s College. He secured the first position and a gold medal in the M.A. (Political Science) in the 2000-2001 academic session at the Punjab University, Lahore. He also secured another gold medal for the overall top position in the 1997-2000 LL.B. programme at the Punjab University, Lahore. He also secured first position in Islamic Personal Law in LL.B. Part II in 1999 and the first position and a gold medal in Islamic Jurisprudence in LL.B. Part I at the Punjab University, Lahore in 1998.

Mr. Rizvi is also pursuing a teaching career with diligence and success at local law schools in Lahore. He has taught at the Punjab Law College, Lahore and is currently teaching at the Superior Law College, Lahore. Since 2002, Mr. Rizvi has been serving as a Director at the Centre for Legal Studies, Lahore and is also serving as Vice Chairman of the Legal Education and Human Rights Committees of the Lahore High Court Bar Association.
